British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s Morning Routine, Diet, And Fitness Regime Revealed – Take A Look!

Ever since becoming the British Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak has turned the eyes of the world towards him. Along with the world leaders, the people are looking at him and how he’ll turn things around for the UK.

To do that, Sunak has to be on his feet for most hours of the day. And, to be able to do that, the British Asian has been taking his fitness regime and nutrition very carefully.


Who’s Rishi Sunak?

Rishi Sunak is a British politician who has been serving as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom since October 25, 2022.

Sunak took the position after Lizz Truss, who herself became the PM after Boris Johnson quit, resigned due to a credibility crisis.

Sunak is the first British Asian and Hindu to hold the position of the PM of the UK. He’s also the son-in-law of Infosys founder, N. R. Narayana Murthy.


The Heart of The Matter…

The newest Prime Minister of Britain is no stranger to fitness. The man of Indian descent starts his early mornings by working out. He also doesn’t miss the point of keeping his nutrition in check.

Last year, in an appearance on ‘The Twenty Minute VC podcast with Harry Stebbings‘, Mr. Sunak revealed his fitness regime and food choices (only a few) among a few other things.

On the podcast, the Prime Minister reveals that he wakes up sometime between 6-7 AM depending on what training day it is. He usually does “one session of Peleton, one session of the treadmill, and one HIIT class” before getting on with his busy day.

To maintain a healthy lifestyle and stay in shape, Mr. Sunak follows the controversial Intermittent Fasting method. So, on most of his day, Mr. Sunak skips his breakfast and eats directly in the afternoon.

On some days, Mr. Sunak eats Greek yogurt and blueberries for breakfast. And then, for his second breakfast mid-morning, he chooses between a cinnamon bun, a pain au chocolat, or a chocolate chip muffin.

For Saturdays, the PM has fully home-cooked meals. As for Sunday mornings, he has pancakes and waffles in rotation.

While on the podcast, Mr. Sunak also revealed that he’s a big fan of the American fitness instructor, Cody Rigsby, and that he follows his fitness advice closely.


What’s Next For Rishi Sunak?

Rishi Sunak who’s just 42 years old is the youngest and the first person of Indian descent to become the Prime Minister of the UK.

In his first address to the people after being appointed PM by King Charles III, Mr. Sunak said it was the “Greatest privilege of my life…Will work day in and out to deliver”.
